I received an email yesterday from Chase that my annual 7% points bonus or “dividend” had posted for my Chase Sapphire Preferred card! As you can see I earned a total of 63,567 points on the card in 2011 (50,000 of that was the sign-up bonus!), so they gave me a 7% bonus dividend of 4,450 points! Gotta love it.
From every angle I absolutely LOVE this card and I love the Ultimate Rewards points program behind it. With Ultimate Rewards I can transfer my points Continental, United, British Airways, Southwest, Amtrak, Hyatt, Priority Club, Korean Air, or Marriott! If I amazingly can’t find the flights or hotel I want through any of those programs, I can even just book travel through Ultimate Rewards program at 1.25 cents per point. So a $250 flight on ANY airline would cost me 20,000 points if I booked it through the Ultimate Rewards website.
I can never rave enough about this card…
2 points per $1 on all travel & dining which is honestly about all of my life expenses; 1 point per $1 on everything else, an additional point per $1 if you book your flights or hotel on the Ultimate Rewards site (so 3 points per $1!), and then of course the 7% annual bonus on all points earned in a year. PS, it’s also made out of TITANIUM and will confuse and/or “wow” every merchant you pay with it. No really, it does… AMAZING!
