Frugal Travel Guy Giving Away 22,000 Hyatt Points & 1st Quarter Promotion!

Rick Ingersoll, the founder of  the fantastic blog that I’ve been reading for over a year is giving away 22,000 points to a randomly selected winner TODAY! That’s enough points for a free night at ANY Hyatt hotel in the world, including their most expensive Park Hyatt resorts that can go for over $1,000 a night. Think 5 star luxury in Paris, Maldives, Tokyo, and other exotic locations. I personally redeemed 44,000 Hyatt points for 2 FREE nights at the Park Hyatt Vendome in Paris after Christmas that was going for $860 a night, which was a fantastic redemption! Or redeem as few as 5,000 for a cheaper Hyatt hotel. All you need to do to enter is go here and leave a comment with your first name, last name, & which hotel you would use the points for by Midnight TONIGHT:

Speaking of Hyatt, let’s talk about their latest promotion for Quarter 1 of 2012. If you have lots of hotel stays coming up and you love Hyatt (why wouldn’t you?!), then this is definitely a promotion you need to register for to maximize your Hyatt Gold Passport points:

Earn thousands of bonus nights for all stays through April 30th, 2012 after you register by March 31st here:

Stay 4 Nights & earn 4,000 bonus points = 4,000 total bonus points
Stay 8+ Nights & earn 8,000 bonus points = 12,000 total bonus points
Stay 12+ Nights & earn 12,000 bonus points = 24,000 total bonus points
Stay 16+ Nights & earn 20,000 bonus points = 44,000 total bonus points

These bonus points are on top of any points you’ll earn from your credit card or through online shopping portals for booking your Hyatt rooms, as well as earning normal Hyatt points for your booking of the hotel (or more if you’re elite!), and for spending money in the hotel restaurants, etc.. Of course can earn the MOST Hyatt points through this promotion by using your Hyatt credit card from Chase. The current credit card offer is on my TOP DEALS page which will get you 2 free nights at any Hyatt in the world (in a suite if you’re elite!) and 1 free night certificate every year you have the card. Great deal.
