One of my favorite things about the American Express Membership Rewards program is the option to transfer your points to frequent flyer programs & hotel guest programs. What is even BETTER is when they run transfer bonuses higher than the normal ratio to those amazing programs.
Currently there’s a 50% transfer bonus from AMEX MR to British Airways, so 1 MR point = 1.5 BA Avios points. Great deal!
Hat tip to The Points Guy. Virgin Atlantic is offering a 25% bonus for the miles transferred in from American Express Membership Rewards program through May 15th, 2012. This transfer bonus isn’t hard coded into the transfer, so the bonus isn’t instant. The T&C state that the 25% bonus should be received within 14 days.
1 AMEX MR point = 2.5 Hilton HHonors points!!
Take advantage of this promotion to boost up your Hilton balance. Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles transfer to Hilton at a 1:2 ratio, which means that with this bonus you can get 2.5 Hilton HHonors points for every 1 American Express Membership Rewards point transferred.
Example…
10,000 AMEX MR points = 12,500 Virgin Atlantic miles = 25,000 Hilton HHonors.

Do you know if you can transfer the MR points to any Virgin account? Or the Virgin miles to any Hilton Honors account?
Yes, you can transfer from MR to any Virgin Atlantic account. I haven’t made any transfers from Virgin Atlantic to Hilton though, but I would just make sure you put them in the Virgin Atlantic account of the person that plans to use the points. You can make award reservations for anybody from any account though, regardless.
Do you have a Facebook fan page for your site?
Yes sir! http://www.facebook.com/travelandcredit
